17A - Elevator Pitch No. 2

2. I thought the feedback that was most important/helpful was how I delivered the elevator speech. I have always had issuing talking in front classes/cameras so any feedback on how I can improve my delivery is greatly appreciated. I think any sort of feedback is helpful is becoming a better version of oneself. The feedback that surprised me the most was how much people agreed with my topic. This was mainly because health care is controversial topic between Republicans and Democrats. I did not think any of the feedback I got was outright wrong or unjustified.

3. One of the things I changed based on the feedback I received from my first elevator speech was my deliver. I tried to move around a little more and add more emotion in my voice. In addition, I tried to do more eye contact with the camera since in my first video I was looking at my script for the most part.

  1. Hey Nick, I think you did a great job fixing the things that you said you did. Your voice wasn't monotone and you seemed more relatable and laid back in your voice which made it easier to watch and pay attention to. In terms of content it was a bit repetitive in the beginning but got better as it went on I think if you get right to the point of your company at the beginning it will be easier to talk and explain everything afterwards and not while you explain the point of the company if that makes sense. Overall, I think you did a great job!

  2. Nick,

Your voice is very clear and your vocabulary is great. I feel like you expressed your thoughts effectively. I think that you did a great job overall. A few pointers would be to speed it up, 2 minutes is a long elevator ride. Furthermore, the filler words like "uhm" or "like" are unnecessary and makes you seem less confident. Removing these words will come the more you practice your pitch because you will feel more comfortable with your company.
