30A – Final Reflection

The experience that sticks out most to be is the entire class to be honest. Throughout the whole semester I had to think critically about what I wanted to do for a business. I went through all sorts of thoughts processes in order to come up with a company that could hit the market now. I am also proud that I was able to do all of the assignments on time and correctly to receive full points.

I think I have an entrepreneurial mindset after taking this class. I try ever day to think outside of the box and figure out ways to improve tasks. This has gone into my actual job on campus as well. I try to figure out ways to make the IT department more efficient.

The main thing I would recommend for students who take this class is to take it seriously and do the work. All of the assignments teach you something different and new that you may have not experienced before. I believe all of the assignments are tied together to fostering the entrepreneurial mindset. In addition, I would say use what you have learned in the class out in the world as well. Apply it to your job, personal life etc.

  1. Hey Nick. I enjoyed reading your posts throughout the semester and your venture’s progress as it went along. I agree with you that students need to take the class seriously and make sure to do all the work on time. I think you are right when you say all the assignments are tied together. They build one after another and it is all part of the process of building your venture/business.

  2. Nick,

That is something to be proud of! Completing all the assignments in an online class is great. It shows you have great time management skills and high levels of responsibility. I unfortunately wasn't able to complete all of the assignments because I could not manage my time some nights. I will be taking this as a learning experience though for my future online classes.

  3. Hey Nick, I really enjoyed reading your post regarding your opinions and final reflection of the class. I too said that I couldn't really pinpoint one specific thing that was my favorite experience or what I learned the most for some experience, and instead included the class as a whole. I entrepreneurial mindset isn't hard to obtain but its hard to keep for the longevity because it requires quick thinking and problem solving. Overall, great job!
