14A – Halfway Reflection
I have always had an issue with keeping up with assignment deadlines, so I made it my goal to do assignments ahead of time. Typically, when I am on campus and waiting in between classes or going to work I write my blogs. This is more productive because I know when I get home I am going to slack off or focus on other classes (like my finance course). I remember when I had my first round of exams this semester I was very swamped with work. A lot of my classes typically have deadlines on Fridays and Sundays. When I was studying, I was debating on whether I should write my blog post for the week. In the end, I just pushed through it because I know at the end of the semester it would be worth it when I get the A. Three tips to being successful in ENT3003 are keeping up with deadline, plan before writing blog posts (because some are very detailed), and don’t think short term. I tend to think of things in the short run and not in the long run. I often regret my performances in class...
Hey Nick, I think you did a great job pitching your idea. It is obvious you are aware of the bigger issues behind the opportunity you are solving. I think its awesome you are wanting to take this risk when the issue is so controversial. I agree that it's a good idea to help keep people healthy with simple things like flu shots and educations. Good job explaining!
ReplyDeleteHey Nick,
ReplyDeleteGood job on your presentation. It seemed like you had a good grasp on your topic and your company’s role in the opportunity. The details you give, such as the health benefits and to what extent they reach, shows you’ve put a good amount of thought into the idea. I also liked how you were very calm in the presentation. In the future, propping your phone up would make a big difference, but good job nonetheless.
